What are the Base•Belles?
A loosely organized group of Cleveland baseball fans who enjoy the wholesome, entertainment of the boys.
Can anyone be a Base•Belle?
Pretty much, yes! We do not discriminate by age, gender, nor sexuality. We only require that you abide by the Tenents of the Belles (and never root for the Yankees).
Are you affiliated with the 1965 Basebelles?
If you mean the booster group created by Mrs. Jessie Semple O’Donnell, no.
Where did you get the name?
My grandmother, Taffy, was a huge Cleveland Baseball fan. I have a framed photo of her at a game with a headband that reads “BaseBelles.” She was not affiliated with the booster group, she just liked it.
Who are you?
A Cleveland native transplanted to Canada (please excuse my extra U’s).
What are the colors used on the site?
I did my best to base the colors off of the City Connect Uniforms:
| Color | Hex Code | Description |
| Sandstone Cream | #F3EFE0 | The off-white used for the pants and “CLE” outline. |
| Guardian Wine | #84172C | The deep, burgundy-style red used for the hat and accents. |
| Deep Navy | #002D62 | The primary jersey base color. |
| Slate Blue | #00385D | The secondary blue used in the jersey’s stone-texture pattern. |
| Guardian Accent Slate | #4A6274 | A “dusty” blue that sits perfectly between the navy and the cream. |
