As a belle of the bases, I will …
… support and promote the Cleveland professional baseball team.
… do my best to attend one Cleveland baseball game per year, in person, should one be held in my geographical area and within the constraints of my budget.
… refrain from vulgarities at the ball field, unless they are directed at the umpires.
… wear either pearls (or something similarly classy) or supporter swag (i.e. hats, jerseys, socks, etc) to any game I attend.
… never deadname our team nor any human.
… shout ‘Root root root for The Guardians!’ during ‘Take me out to the ballgame.’
… assist anyone keeping score.
… enjoy a cold beer (if I’m not the designated driver) or a hot dog (if I eat meat) at the park.
… gently but sternly correct anyone who violates our tenets, especially if they are Cleveland fans.
