Time to hit the Mile High City!
Is anyone else really fucking done with the Bet360 ads? Given Cleveland’s recent experience with players gambling, I suspect all of us hate the ads right now.
Hammy is taking the trip off and Scott Bailes (pronounced ‘bales’ like ‘hay bales’) filled in. He reminds me of my family friend, Doug. Miss you, Doug!

Knowing we’re having three games in thin air, which is great for hitters, and two will be pitched by Cantillo and Bibee (our hardest hit hurlers) is not encouraging, even if the Rockies are the worst team in the NL.

- Please don’t ask me to explain what a balk is.
- The Guards are, again, capitalizing on the mistakes other teams make. That’s good baseball.
- Cantillo did pretty well, but only made it 4 2/3rds of an inning.
- Genoa is as good at short as he is at second or third, which is really impressive.
- We knocked their pitchers out in the 9th and a position player took the mound. This poor guy, it was the 7th time he’s had to pitch.

- Well Bibee didn’t give up a home run in the first inning so thats an improvement. He did give one up in the 5th.
- Adell is very clearly happy to be in Cleveland. A 450’ home run!
- José Ramírez singled in the top of the 4th to pass Charlie Jamieson for 5th place in franchise history with his 1,752nd hit.
- Bailey had a great day with pitch challenges.

- DeLauter with two triples (one was a stand up), making up for going 0-3 yesterday.
- Other than taking a long time to play (3:16 hours) the game was surprisingly uneventful. For the guards. The Rockies’ pitcher would disagree.
Tomorrow we pick up up on Anaheim against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
