A double header? Sure. A game delay from rain? Of fucking course.
At the start of the season, we saw this series and thought it would be a deal breaker. Remember last year? We were bare-knuckle fighting to get to the playoffs. This year, the Motor City Kitties traded Skubal and Mize and basically said “Yeah, we’re not gonna try for the playoffs.” Cleveland started the series at .500 and the third and final Wild Card slot. But that means the Tigers can act like a spoiler and stop us.

- Well Logan Allen showed us exactly how he lost his Starter role. Man didn’t even make it 3 innings!
- Secconi looks good in the ‘Pen.
- Rocchio hit a grand slam to tie it up?! That is fucking amazing!
- And then … nothing until the bottom of the 9th when (checks notes) Rocchio hits a walk off homer! (Rocchio’s first multi-homer game, and he did it from both sides of the plate!?)

- Second game, delayed because the first one was rain delayed.
- Cleveland’s bipolar batting continues.
- Hao-Yu Lee just ran into Hedges and knocked himself silly.
- Rocchio and Martinez collided and Martinez left with a sore shoulder (after his next at bat). We’re pretty sure Martinez got a knee in the junk.
- DeLauter (the DH) left with either a sore wrist or a sprain.
- Hedgy got rung up on a pitch clock violation, after the Ump called time. Everyone got fired up, and Vogt got ejected for the second time that year.
- Bazzana, who filled in for DeLauter, hit the game tying homer.
- Are we allowed to have walk off wins in both games of a double header?!

- Framber Valdez is really good against us. How annoying.
- Riley Greene (from the Tigers) had most of the runs.
- Austin Peterson had his first game and did well!
- Cleveland didn’t get a hit since the second inning.
- Parker Messick had an amazing outing, becoming the Rookie with the second most strikeouts (12 today) in their debut season! Ahead of him? Oh just this guy, Herb Score.

- Gavin “Big Rig” Williams had 11 strikeouts. Again.
- The bullpen was really on the ball today.

- Rocchio tied the game … again.
- Schneeman lined in a run for the third walk off win?!
- And look! We won without José!
Off to Baltimore for a three game series, starting with a day game for Labor Day!
