That was a pretty disappointing series. The Orioles are basically out of the running, but we just muffed it all over the place.
A lot of this is due to our starting pitchers just fucking collapsing after one run through the order. I suspect Cantillo will be sent to the ‘Pen next year, and I doubt anyone will pick up Free Agent Rookie Griffin.

- Cantillo looked rough but worked through the first inning. And then got to 70+ pitches in the middle of the second with bases loaded. Jesus.
- Angel Martinez decided that fouling a ball off the ump’s head would be fun (sorry Gooch, hope you’re okay!)
- Aleman walked in two runs. From what I understand, he’s not well liked in the club house, but we’re low on arms,
- Hammy pointed out, right before Mayo’s two run shot, we were lucky to be in the game at all. Yeah, no shit.

- Before the game, my man Karl joked if Bibee would give up a homer in the first inning. Instead, he made it to the 5th before imploding.
- Herrin, Yoho, Gaddis, and Cade held down the rest.
- Everyone but Lowe (who walked twice), and Genoa (who never had an at bat) got a hit today!

- Griffin just fucking collapsed in the third. And while you can blame Genoa for an error, most of it was Griff getting shelled.
- Speaking of errors, José’s missed catch in the 6th resulted in the run.
- Seriously, that’s all I can say about the game.
- Oh well yeah, DeLauter’s back and hit a home run. And a single. And fielded wonderfully.
And now we drive to DC to fly to the Twin Cities.
Yeah they’re doing construction at night at the Baltimore Airport, so both teams buss to DC to fly out of Dulles.
