All games matter in September when you’re on the edge of the Post Season. For Cleveland to get there, we have to win. Period.

The Twins’ field is so weirdly wide left to right, so basically any solid hit to a corner is going to score the man on first. It’s nutty that there’s no set dimensions on the outfields.
There also isn’t a rule about how tall the outfield wall should be.
Baseball is weird.

- Couldn’t get a guy past second until they called in a reliever! Travis Bazzana hit a single and Angel Martinez lit a two run dong.
- Pulling Sabrowski for Gaddis for the third out was the wrong move. I really hate when Vogt does that.
- Late Season Rocchio is my favourite Rocchio.

- Seeing Espino and not Cantillo as starter was very weird. But according to Hammy, the idea is that Joey would do better coming in from the pen with the mentality he can go all out, and not try to pace himself.
- Espino was perfect through two. Can’t say the same for Aleman. He hit two batters, one had to leave the game. Can we get rid of Aleman?
- Cantillo actually did really well.

- Adell’s home run was the fourth hardest hit ever (since the advent of tracking that stuff).
- Everyone was on their A game.
- Yes, Bazzana should have challenged that pitch but it was also early in the game and he didn’t want to possibly waste it.
- Taking a decisive win like this means we spared our bullpen just in time for the series against the White Sox.
Back home to play the White Sox, because clearly we need to have tough, season defining, games at the end of the season.
Can we just maybe coast into a post season for a change?
