We did better and worse than I’d hoped. The first game was close. The second we did everything right. The third we just sucked. I really don’t understand why Bibee is cursed like this, but he is.
Lowe had a great series, and José (after taking the first game off) was nearly his old self again! But overall, clutch hitting is where the boys collapse.

- Big Rig was not at his best.
- Rocchio seems to be happy back in the 9-hole.
- Lowe’s hitting well and Kwan’s started a new on-base streak.
- We played relatively well, all things considered, but the Padres are way out of our league.

- After a day off, José seems to be back in form. His first extra base hit since his surgery!
- Kwan continues his amazing hitting and fielding.
- Bazzana had his best day at second since coming up.
- Genoa remains impressive
- DeLauter stole second and thanks to two errors, scored a run, and I have never seen anything like that!
- Cantillo was at his best. That one hit was one of those weird bouncers that can’t be caught.
- The only bad news is Holderman got hurt somehow (wrist inflammation).

- The Bibee curse continues. That said, he gave up two home runs, so those were on him and Hedgy.
- Only three hits, but that’s actually weirdly an improvement, as it means only 5 men left on base.
- Kwan, again, is a hero, but his on base streak broke again.
- José is looking more like himself with some line drives and awesome fielding.
- Chase DeLauter left with hamstring tightness.
Tomorrow we lick our wounds and welcome San Francisco.
