Yanked Down By the Sox for a Loss

Finally in news you can use, the MLB Player’s Association made their proposal to the MLB owners. The short and skinny is that the MLBPA wants to raise the league minimum salary and improve revenue sharing with teams. This is a proposal and no doubt the MLBPA aimed high, hoping to settle for less. That said, I have no doubt the owners will use this to paint them as the bad guys.

Series Results

So the Red Sox are having a disaster season. It started so bad, they fired manager Alex Cora and five other coaches after a disappointing 10-17 start to the 2026 season. This decision came just hours after a significant 17-1 victory over the Orioles.

Their stats are horrible. It’s bizarre.

And yet they won. How painful.

Game 1 (59) – WON

• It’s Sugardale Dollar Dog night!
• The Sox started the game with a reliever pitching and Cleveland rang him up.
• Their next pitcher made me so glad we rang the first guy.
• If we hadn’t thrown the guy out at the plate, who knows what would have happened!
• Cecconi melted down in the 5th, which was odd.
• Cade got his 20th save!

Game 2 (60) – LOST

• Not our finest day, but we fought well. Hammy properly called it ugly.
• Angel got pulled with left foot inflammation.
• We hit two batters.

Game 3 (61) – LOST

• Look, Bibee is just cursed, okay?
• Fry and DeLauter had good games.
