Final three games and we are in first place for the AL Centrals and clinched a playoff spot. We have to win as many as the White Sox win, and they’re up against the worst team in all of baseball.
You’d think Kansas City would give us a fucking break, but no.
The Rockies stepped up instead. Saturday night, the Guardians won the AL Central for the third time in a row, and the 14th time overall.

- I have never seen more pickle-in-the-middle fuck ups in a single game.
- Big Rig did not have a good day.
- José had a bunch of errors, but the percentage of balls he had to field was above anyone else.

- This was a fucking rollercoaster. Bibee got a rough start, but settled in.
- Then Cleveland decided to hit the ball.
- Bailey had his first multi homer game.
- Cade Smith had to come in and bail out Yoho in the 8th.
- Since we had such a big lead, Vogt pulled in Smith for Cecconi to save Smith for tomorrow. Just in case.

- This game mattered very little, so Cleveland rolled out their B Team.
- David Fry caught and Schee and Adell hit homers.
- Yoho was optioned to Columbus and I’m not sure what that means.
Who are we playing next?
Dunno! We’ve hit the end of the 2026 regular season. The White Sox play the AL West winner (Astros or Rangers). The winner of that series plus us next weekend. So go out, enjoy the last gasp of summer if you can, and I will see you in Rocctober.
